We work for victory!

President of the Republic of Estonia Alar Karis visited Kyiv Region

On June 2, President of the Republic of Estonia Alar Karis visited Kyiv Region as part of his visit to Ukraine. He was accompanied by the Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Ruslan Kravchenko and representatives of local authorities.

The President of Estonia visited Bucha and saw with his own eyes how tragic and horrific the consequences of the “russian world” are. In particular, Alar Karis visited the mass grave near the Church of St. Andrew the Apostle. 119 people were buried there, including women and children who were killed by russians during the occupation.

“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Estonia has taken a very principled position in support of Ukraine. The Government of this country has repeatedly been the engine behind the pan-European initiatives that have significantly increased assistance in our fight against the fierce aggressor,” said Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the KRMA.

He added that the visit of the Estonian President shows that the entire civilized world will stand with Ukraine until victory, and there is no doubt about it, even among russians who hoped that the West would get tired of the war.

“I am sincerely grateful to our Estonian partners for their help and support in the struggle for Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity. We look forward to close and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries in the future,” Ruslan Kravchenko emphasized.
