Regional Office of International Cooperation was presented to the representatives of foreign delegations who arrived in Ukraine for the international Summit of Cities and Regions

In Kyiv, the Regional Office of International Cooperation was presented to foreign partners who arrived in Ukraine as part of the first International Summit of Cities and Regions.

Among the participants of the event are the representatives of the EU Committee of the Regions, the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, representatives of local self-government bodies of European countries and other distinguished guests.

The presentation was conducted by the Head of Kyiv Region Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko. During his speech, he noted that the Regional Office of International Cooperation is a single window for foreign partners who seek to cooperate at the regional level and territorial community level.

“The main areas of activity are humanitarian and social aid, as well as the reconstruction of everything destroyed by the russian army. The Regional Office will be an information and analytical platform for systematization of data, support of projects and coordination of international cooperation between all parties represented in the region,” commented Ruslan Kravchenko.

In addition, the Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration mentioned that thanks to the joint actions of the state, local self-government and international partners, more than 11,700 facilities have already been fully or partially rebuilt.

“Our goal is to comprehensively rebuild the most damaged settlements. We should not just rebuild, but make people’s lives more comfortable. It is about the replacement of all engineering networks and new spatial solutions. Kyiv region today is not only reconstruction, it is also development. We are a region that attracts investment and we will only expand work in this direction,” he summarized.
